We are a new state-of-the-art veterinary clinic specialising in companion animals.

Naas Veterinary Clinic provides preventative and immediate medical and surgical advice and care for pets. We are easy to reach from all parts of Kildare. We offer sensible unhurried advice at the clinic or when possible by telephone on preventative health care.

Meet Our Team

Paul Traynor MVB MRCVS

Paul Traynor MVB MRCVS

Paul graduated from the University College Dublin as a Veterinary Surgeon. He has 40 years experience in both equine and small animal practice. In his early career he gained international experience in Greece and Saudi Arabia. On his return to Ireland he founded Grey Abbey veterinary hospital in Kildare. He has also volunteered with the DSPCA.

He is passionate about providing the best care for animals and their owners.

Antonietta Cantone DVM GPCertSAR

Antonietta Cantone DVM GPCertSAR

Antonietta graduated in Italy in 2015. She worked in small animal practice in Italy until 2018 when she moved to Ireland. She has a strong interest in small animal reproduction and neonatology, and she holds a certificate in these fields since 2022.

Antonietta joined the team at Naas Vet Clinic in November 2023.

Outside of work Antonietta likes reading, cooking and travelling back home to Italy to visit her pets (her 16 year old dog Hippy and 8 year old bunny Pepe)

Mariana Zamith DVM

Mariana Zamith DVM

Mariana graduated in Portugal in 2022.  She did a rotational internship in Porto Veterinary Hospital for 1 year after graduating. Mariana then came to Ireland and has been working in small animal practice here since. She joined the Team at Naas Veterinary Clinic in March 2024. 

Mariana has a keen interest in Cardiology and is currently completing a Certificate in small animal Cardiology with improve international. 
Rebecca Flynn BSc RVN

Rebecca Flynn BSc RVN

Rebecca graduated from Dundalk Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Nursing in 2014. Rebecca has over 10 years experience working in practice. She worked in equine practice initially before returning to small animal practice. Rebecca has worked in a small animal emergency and critical care setting for the last number of years before joining Naas veterinary clinic as Head Nurse in March 2022.

Outside of work Rebecca enjoys horse racing and long walks with her dogs Roxy and Dougal. Rebecca strives to ensure each and every patient that enters our door will get the best care possible.

Sinéad Farrell BSc RVN, MSc, BSc

Sinéad Farrell BSc RVN, MSc, BSc

Sinéad graduated from Dundalk Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Nursing in 2020. Sinéad also has degrees in Zoology and a Masters in wildlife conservation.

Sinéad was initially working in general practice before spending the last 18 months in emergency critical care nursing. She previously completed an internship in Seal Rescue Ireland. She has a keen interest in radiography and nutrition.

She has 2 cats Eli and Jeff .

Sadbh Kennelly ACA

Sadbh Kennelly ACA

Sadbh is a second year veterinary medicine student in UCD. She previously worked in a small animal practice in dublin before joining us in April of this year.  Sadbh loves chatting to all the clients and meeting patients. She can be found in the ward looking after all the patients or at reception helping clients.

Sadbh is looking forward to finishing her degree and becoming a small animal vet. Sadbh has 4 dogs Walter, Pablo, Chip and Dale who she enjoys bringing on long walks.

Jeannie Freyne RVN

Jeannie Freyne RVN

Jeannie graduated from St. Johns College in Cork in 2016 as a mature student. She was working in her family practice as an assistant. Jeannie was previously working as a pharmacy technician. 

Jeannie joined Naas Vet Clinic in September 2023. 
Jeannies favourite part of her job is caring for the patients
Outside of work Jeannie loves to go on long walks and hikes, sea swimming and travelling around the world. She also enjoys walking Punchestown with her little cavalier Ms Maggie and also Maggies cousin Robyn and Barney.
